Dear Colleagues,
We are an independent think tank based in Sofia, Bulgaria. Having conducted research in the Balkans for nearly a decade, we plan to open an office in Warsaw this year. Our organization’s mission is to conduct interdisciplinary research on international conflicts, peace processes, and contemporary global security challenges.
Our team comprises scholars and experts affiliated with universities and research institutions across Europe, Asia, Africa, and North America. Our research areas include, among others, political and social transformations in Syria; the transition from armed conflict to state reconstruction following the end of Bashar al-Assad’s rule; and conflicts and security crises in Georgia, Ukraine, and the Balkans viewed from a historical perspective. Our experts also conduct research on conflicts and geopolitical challenges in Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, the Middle East, Ethiopia, Sudan, Mali, and other regions affected by political instability.
Our English-language publications are released by Ibidem Verlag, IGI Global, and other renowned academic publishers with whom we collaborate. On our platform, we showcase both the organization’s research output from the past decade and our latest analyses, reports, and expert commentaries on current events in Europe and around the world. We pay particular attention to issues affecting Poland’s security and international standing within the European Union, NATO, and global cooperation frameworks.
At In Statu Nascendi, we believe that the continuous advancement of knowledge and an effective response to global challenges require cross-border cooperation. By combining research experience, diverse academic perspectives, and international partnerships, we aim to produce analyses that foster a better understanding of contemporary political, economic, and social processes.
As a registered non-profit organization within the European Union (NGO No. 205254346), we are committed to advancing research, strengthening academic dialogue, and preparing independent analyses regarding the most critical challenges facing the modern world. We look forward to your support, which will enable us to continue our core activities, expand our research projects, and further disseminate expert knowledge.
