Ten maj był intensywny. Może właściwie tak miało być. Przecież w Polsce ten miesiąc kojarzy się z budzącą się do życia przyrodą, dłuższymi dniami i Nabożeństwami Majowymi ku czci Maryi🌸
W Kościele nadal przeżywamy radość okresu wielkanocnego, a Maryję czcimy jako opiekunkę życia, które daje Zmartwychwstały.
W Zambii jest odwrotnie – rozpoczyna się chłodniejsza pora roku, dni stają się krótsze, a przyroda po porze deszczowej stopniowo traci swoją zieleń. Choć tradycyjne nabożeństwa majowe nie są tam powszechne, wierni nadal modlą się do Maryi, m.in. słowami Litanii Loretańskiej. Niezależnie od miejsca i pory roku, Maryja pozostaje źródłem pocieszenia, wsparcia i prawdziwej radości, której nie daje świat🩵.

This month was intensive. Maybe it should be just like that. May in Poland is associated with nature coming back to life after winter, longer days, and May devotions dedicated to the Virgin Mary. In the Church, we continue to celebrate the joy of the Easter season, honoring Mary as the protector of the life given by the Risen Christ.
🌼In Zambia, the situation is quite different. The cooler season is beginning, the days are becoming shorter, and nature is gradually losing its lush green colors after the rainy season. Although traditional May devotions are not widely practiced there, people still pray to Mary, for example through the Litany of Loreto. Regardless of the place or season, Mary remains a source of comfort, support, and true joy—a joy that the world cannot give.
