In November (or more precisely – November 14) anno domini 1952, in Great Britain the weekly charts were published for the first time. At number 1 was – and would remain for the next 9 weeks – Al Martino, with the song Here in my Heart. While the UK Singles Chart was not a memorable fact, the author of the text below is of the opinion that at least two other events are as important to him – he would even dare to say that they were perhaps even more important.
