On 2021 we created a Noprofit Project in Warsaw (Poland) called Warsaw Tango Partyka. The goal of the project is to spread tango within people who are between 18 and 35 years old.
The response of the young people from Warsaw has exceeded our expectations - after the first year there are still almost 40 people attending Partyka every week while tenths more participate less frequently. In total, over 400 visited Partyka at least once!
After 2 years of project we reached almost 800 people and at this moment we have 60 regular Partykers :)
As a nonprofit project, we are doing our best to make tango affordable to all. For this reason we are offering regular class with practice (and buffet full of snacks and drinks!) for only 10PLN / 2EUR (just to cover the running costs) as well as other free events. Regular practices, open air milongas and our wonderful participants attract more and more new tango lovers.
Having big dreams and being optimists is for sure our strength, but as we grow, we are trying to learn our lessons.
Due to the initial investment to advertise the project, our current balance is -7000PLN
