Starcie mocarstw – Jacek Bartosiak i Bartłomiej Radziejewski na temat Białorusi

In the far southwestern corner of England, overlooking the blue Atlantic and the green rolling hills of Penwith, there is a village of tiny grey stone cottages called St. Just, less than 10 km away from Land’s End and a short walk from Cape Cornwall. Behind the King’s Arms is the Anglican Parish Church, built in the 15th Century. Inside it, you’ll see stained glass windows and a large collection of old flags – the biggest of which is a White Ensign (a Cross of St. George with a Union Jack in the top left-hand corner). It belonged to HMS Revenge (pictured above), was flown during the Battle of Jutland (1916), and was presented to the church by Captain Russell Grenfell.

Turkey’s New Global Posture: Grand Strategy and Geopolitical Imperatives. Part III

“If you destroy the country’s first President, this will be the beginning of the end – you will always be on your knees.” Alexander Lukashenko still seeks to frame himself as a guarantor of national independence and sovereignty. But have people already stopped listening? Turnout at last weekend’s pro-Lukashenko rally in Minsk was visibly far smaller than that of the anti-Lukashenko protests in other parts of the city taking place at the same time.

Istotnym elementem ataku na chiński system świadomości sytuacyjnej będą okręty podwodne z rakietami manewrującymi, wykonujące uderzenia z wód wewnątrz pierwszego łańcucha wysp.

A significant document on the strategic and conceptual games played regarding the conflict between the United States and China is the report produced in September 2015 by the RAND Corporation, entitled The U.S. – China Military Scorecard. Forces, Geography and the Evolving Balance of Power 1996–2017. This report summarises two possible scenarios for the military confrontation between the United States and China on the Western Pacific: one concerns Taiwan, 160 km from the coast of China, the second one of the Spratly Islands – Thitu, lying in the South China Sea, 940 km from China’s Hainan Island.

The Baltic-Eastern Mediterranean zone which divides the European peninsula from the rest of Eurasia is becoming dangerously unstable. Last week there were reports that the row between Ankara and Athens had evolved into a more aggressive stage with the danger of direct military confrontation. This time, it was not about traditional insults and threats. If before there were mere diplomatic and political disputes over many issues, harming relations between these two neighboring countries, the escalation ladder is now becoming highly unpredictable.
